Membership Agreement

 

Welcome to Broadfork Garden Online Farm stand!
We ask all new members to carefully read the following document before becoming members of the farmstand.
Membership Options:
  • Customizable "Weekly" Order 
    Order gives you a weekly box of seasonal veggies, herbs and fruit, eggs and cheeses all grown or made locally. This order is fully customizable, so you are able to add and remove items from your box. If you order only $25 worth that is the amount you will be charged.  If you add extra items, you will be charged for each item added. 

  • Customizable "Everyother Week" Order 
    Order is exactly the same as the "Weekly" Order, except that this order is delivered once in every two weeks.  This option is great for people who do not eat at home as often or simply need less food.

  • Payments: We use an web-based software program called Farmigo to process payment. With Farmigo, you have online access to your own account. We accept PayPal or credit card.


"Debit on Delivery" allows you to use your PayPal account to automatically charge you the evening of each order delivered.

Autopay Option: We encourage all of our customers to sign up for automatic payment options that will pay your account in a timely fashion so that you never have a negative balance.  

Items Sold by Weight: For certain items that are sold by weight, due to their irregular sizes, the weight units per item in the webstore are approximate only.  When we fill each order, we come as close as possible to the weight requested by the customer. 
Communication: By agreeing to join, you are also agreeing to open and read email communications from us including:

  • Payment due emails: All billing issues regarding your account will be emailed to you, including start ups and notice of suspension of service.

  • Other: You may also receive specific emails announcing important changes to our service. Please read our emails as soon as you see them. Please add broadforkgarden@gmail.com to your address book to protect our communications from spam filters


Referral Credit and Vacations: If you can’t receive your box on a given week simply log in to your account and set a delivery hold.  You will not be charged for the weeks you don't receive a delivery, and you can place a hold as often as you need to.

Order Requirements: Return the empty cooler each week. Please do not keep a back-log of coolers at home – return the empty one every time you pick up a full one.  Your account will be charged $50 each time a cooler is not returned, or returned broken. The empty cooler must be on your doorstep, or in a similarly obvious location the morning of your delivery day (a reminder email is sent out each time).

 

Suspension of service: If your account balance falls negative, you will receive an email asking you to make a payment.  If you do not make a payment, we will do everything we can to get in touch with you before placing your account on hold.  Please make an effort to keep your account current.  The easiest way to do this is sign up for automatic payments, or "Debit on Delivery."

If your membership becomes inactive, your balance may be refunded and the account closed after a few months. Restarting is as easy as joining, just follow the same link.


Cancellation: To cancel your Broadfork Garden Farmstand subscription, email broadforkgarden@gmail.com. You are able to cancel your account at anytime and we will refund your current balance.
